Thank you to all of the 2005-06 Bryan residents who attended events and participated in activities designed to broaden your perspective and enrich your experience, especially including Kelly Donoughe, as well as Sara Wander, Terry Dimsdale, Jessica Dean, Shannan Souza, Amy Sears, and Amanda Woodbrook.

Julian Torres,
for outstanding academic achievement in his in-house course;
Amy Sears,
for outstanding academic achievement and classroom commitment
in her in-house course;
Lisa Lancaster,
for outstanding academic achievement and classroom commitment, as well as dedication to the spirit of engagement and learning. Thank you, Lisa, for your above-and-beyond efforts in coordinating and hosting Book Club events, planning and hosting our first-ever “Harry Potter Festival,” and for great service as a Bryan Liaison;
Amanda Bohan,
for outstanding commitment to the spirit of engagement, especially in efforts to plan and host events designed to enrich this community. Thank you, Amanda, for your contributions as a dependable and enthusiastic Bryan Liaison;
Gisela Feliciano,
for her diligence, positive attitude , and outstanding achievement throughout Portuguese 1120 and 1121;
Amanda Robinson,
for dedication to the spirit of engagement, both in class and beyond. Working diligently to overcome linguistic interference from the Spanish language, her perseverance throughout Portuguese 1120 and 1121 led to significant progress throughout the academic year, resulting in high achievement. Thank you, Amanda, for your commitment to this learning community, including above-and-beyond efforts in hosting the Bryan Book Club discussion of Life of Pi;
Colton Varnadore,
for commitment to the spirit of engagement, both through active participation in enrichment events (including a mentorship with Dr. Grant, chats with authors, and our “Academic Success” workshop), as well as for a positive attitude and enthusiastic immersion in this learning community. As a mid-year transfer into Bryan, Colton embraced the opportunities available in Spring and showed that he was dedicated to pursuing his “curiosity and the desire to learn”;
Eric Taylor,
for active participation in this learning community and a dedication to the spirit of engagement. Thank you, Eric for consistently attending non-required events and contributing to discussions, whether through Dr. Grant’s mentorship, informal Coffee Talks, or Conversations receptions with authors;

Charles Hart,
who has stood out even among “Bryan’s Best” for his dedication to pursuing the opportunities available at FSU, including Service Scholars and fellowships, but especially for his commitment to fulfilling the spirit of “curiosity and the desire to learn” as a resident of this learning community. He has actively participated in events and activities designed to enrich both his own and his fellow residents’ experience, including serving as a Liaison and organizing and hosting special author visits and engaging in lively discussions both as part of his involvement in Dr. Grant’s mentorship and our regular “Coffee Talks.” Thank you, Charles, for being a reliable, enthusiastic participant throughout the academic year. |
